We at Skinny Jim's Blends believe in giving back to the communities and specific programs that represent our beliefs and values in society. In our opinion, this responsibility falls on the individuals, companies and institutions that utilize these services as well as believe in helping the services that genuinely benefit the well-being of mankind overall without regard for their "bottom lines" and are in operation solely in the interest of helping people.
We have committed to give a portion of all proceeds to The Children's Therapy Center of Fair Lawn which is based in Fair Lawn, New Jersey. With every bottle we sell, a portion of that bottle's gross sale is donated. There is no tricky accounting and we don't base it on how much money we made or lost. It is straightforward and solely based on gross sales. So the more we sell, the more we give. Bottom line.
The Children's Therapy Center of Fair Lawn primarily receives operating income and can only grow through personal donations. This is where we, and indirectly you, come in. Not only are you receiving a product that is of the highest quality and rivals other competitor's products, but you are helping give a little to support this worthy cause with every purchase.

Now, the logical question is, "Why have you chosen this specific cause to support?" The answer is simple: Because of a little girl named Zoey. Zoey Ane Komninos, daughter of Dimitrios "Skinny Jim" Komninos and his wife Melanie, was born on June 14, 2005 with Cerebral Palsy (however, it was unknown at that time). The extent of the severity of the Cerebral Palsy was unknown until it was officially diagnosed 34 months after birth as Spastic Cerebral Palsy Quadriplegia, the most severe type of CP.
So, needless to say, The Children's Therapy Center has been there to support, council, teach, and develop Zoey and hundreds of other children with varying degrees of special needs. They took Zoey in when there was "officially" no vacancies and bend over backwards every day for these children. They have dozens of staff members and even more volunteers to help with the overall development of these children. As you can imagine, this requires a MASSIVE amount of time, money, and commitment on everyone's part.
